We are sorry we cannot provide horses. All riders are required to bring their own horses.

What is a Welcome to Trail weekend? Will You enjoy it? this is what you can expect ....
When you and your horse arrive on Friday (4.00pm onwards) you will be given space to relax and unpack. You can select your bunk-room/bunk, and settle your horse in. .
Rides are between 6km and 15km. On Saturday and Sunday mornings the group will enjoy a cooked breakfast before heading out to the Trail Obstacle Course at 10am.
After lunch riders will head out for a ride through the beautiful Strath Valley.
Hillcrest Homestead is located in Strath Creek, and is a rustic cozy old country farmhouse with a large kitchen, huge dining room, two lounge rooms with open fire places, three bunk rooms, two bathrooms/toilets.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING ALONG

BYO: Slippers, Towels, Toiletries, Sheets for bed and Doona/Sleeping Bag, Pillow.
Horses:
Horse Feed
Saddle & All Equipment
ELECTRIC FENCING & PIGTAILS for those
who have horses that don't like
sharing a paddock.
A glimpse of what to expect on a Welcome to trail weekend
Riding experiences are tailored to riding capabilities
COST: WELCOME TO TRAIL WEEKEND – $490
Your weekend includes Ride Leaders for both days, TRV members will cook and make your stay comfortable, two dinners, nibbles, two cooked breakfasts, lunch, a bed to rest your head (BYO all bedding, towel & horse feed) and safe and secure paddocks for your horses.
PAYMENT
Please note that your spot is not confirmed until full payment has been received. Bookings are accepted on a first-paid basis. We cannot hold places without payment and a completed Terms & Conditions/Waiver form.
To avoid disappointment, we encourage prompt payment to secure your place at the event.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Trail Riders of Victoria (TRV) reserves the right to cancel the event due to extreme weather or natural disasters (e.g. flood or bushfire). In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations within 28 days of the event: No refund available.
Cancellations more than 28 days before the event: Refund issued, less a $100 administration fee.
